COVID is an interesting disease, and there is a lot we don't know. but we do know that babies get their immunity boost through mothers breast milk. the current CDC guidelines:

Coronavirus Disease (COVID-19) and Breastfeeding

If you are breastfeeding and have symptoms of or confirmed COVID-19, take steps to avoid spreading the virus to your baby:

  • Wash your hands before touching your baby

  • Wear a cloth face covering, if possible, while feeding at the breast

  • Wash your hands before touching pump or bottle parts and clean all parts after each use

It is a tough decision but you will know what is best for your baby.
